The transition program for 2024 has begun, with a number of our local partner primary schools year 6 students attending Our Woodville for our Taste of High School program. This integral component of the transition program showcases our innovative teaching and learning spaces and 21st century teaching programs. This year, each Learning Area has been allocated a series of lessons across the five week program offering small taster sessions. Highlights have included sushi and pancake making in the newly developed Food Technologies Hub and Aboriginal Dreaming stories with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Team. Over the five weeks we have welcomed over 400 Year 6 students from schools throughout our partnership. A huge thank you to everyone that has supported and contributed to this program throughout Term 1, a significant investment in building our community.
