The Term 3 Middle Years Assembly held at St Clair during week 1 of this term, was a fantastic opportunity to bring our Year 7-9 students together to celebrate their achievements from the first half of the year. The assembly was filled with pride and inspiration as we recognised the outstanding efforts of our students.
Academic and Service awards were presented by the Principal Mrs Anna Mirasgentis, highlighting the hard work and dedication of many students.
Our student leaders took the stage to address important issues and remind everyone of our school values, reinforcing the principles that guide our community. Their speeches were both motivating and thought-provoking, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
Deputy Principal, Mr Luke Smith provided valuable insights into the course counselling process, helping students understand the pathways available to them. Additionally, Sports Coordinator, Mr Ryan Vivian shared exciting sporting opportunities for the remainder of 2024, encouraging students to get involved and stay active.
A highlight of the assembly was the incredible performance by the Year 9 Jazz Band, conducted by Mr Jakub Tengdahl. Their music captivated the audience and showcased the talent and hard work of our young musicians.
The assembly was a wonderful celebration of our students’ successes and a reminder of the vibrant and supportive community we have at Woodville High School.
