Middle School Concert Series
On Wednesday 9th November, the year 7-10 music students presented the middle school concert series, this time in a new, live format. This year, we ran a year 7/8 concert and a year 9/10 concert in the Learning Hub. This was the second of our middle school concert series performances for 2023, and it was great to see how much musical development has taken place throughout the year. Thanks to Terry Bickley, Music Coordinator, for his organisation and compering of the series, and all the Music Centre staff.
Year 12 Graduation Night
It was a great pleasure to provide music for the Year 12 Graduation Night in the Adelaide Town Hall. The Adelaide Town Hall allowed us to showcase the Special Interest Music Centre with a range of performance ensembles able to present performances. The Chamber Strings performed downstairs as guests entered the building and once up in the foyer, guests were entertained by the Saxophone Quintet. It was a wonderful to have the opportunity to showcase three of our senior ensembles during the ceremony, and the Wind Ensemble, Senior Choir and Stage Band presented a high standard of performance. It was also great to recognise the outstanding achievements of our year 12 music students.
Elder Conservatorium of Music 2023
Congratulations to Jake, Michaela, Anibal, Sofia, Jonathan, for all being accepted into the Elder Conservatorium of Music for 2023.
