Welcoming Our Future Learners
This term, Woodville High School proudly welcomed 334 Year 5 and 6 students and their teachers from our local partner primary schools – Kilkenny, Brompton, Woodville, Woodville Gardens, Challa Gardens, and Allenby Gardens – as part of our Taste of High School program. These visits are a vital part of our transition process, giving students an authentic and exciting first look at high school life ahead of families submitting their public high school preferences next term.
Throughout their visits, students participate in a range of engaging activities and enjoy a day in the life of a high school student. From hands-on learning to exploring our incredible facilities, there has been plenty of fun and curiosity in the air!
A heartfelt thank you to all staff who contributed to the success of these visits. Your enthusiasm, flexibility and support make a huge difference and ensure that every student leaves feeling welcomed, excited, and ready for the next step in their learning journey. We look forward to hosting our final Taste of High School visit in Week 2 of next term for Alberton and Pennington Primary Schools.
