At the start of August, we proudly launched The Enchanted Garden, a magical exhibition of ceramic artworks created by Woodville High School Year 9 students in collaboration with Kilkenny Primary, and Woodville Gardens Primary students at Ngutungka West Lakes.

This exhibition is the result of a unique mentorship project, with Woodville High students guiding and collaborating with younger artists from our partner primary schools. Together they explored themes of imagination and environmental art, creating works that both celebrate nature and highlight issues that matter deeply to them, such as climate change, endangered species, and caring for country.

The launch featured inspiring student speeches, reflections from our partner schools, and a special address from the Deputy Mayor of the City of Charles Sturt, Councillor Edgar Agius, who celebrated the creativity and collaboration behind this project.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in recognising the students’ imagination, mentorship, and commitment to environmental art. The exhibition will continue running for 10 more days, so we encourage everybody to join us in honouring the imagination, craftsmanship, and community spirit behind this enchanting collection.
