This term, our Year 11 students participated in three sessions of the ABCN Innovate Program (29 July, 7 August, and 20 August). With the support of industry mentors, students explored their values, strengths, and future pathways. The program empowered them to build confidence and resilience, while reflecting our school values of Diversity, Integrity, and Resilience.
Across the three sessions, students engaged in activities designed to challenge their thinking and broaden their perspectives about life beyond school. They worked closely with mentors from a range of industries who shared personal experiences and insights about navigating career challenges, overcoming setbacks, and making values-driven decisions. The program encouraged students to reflect on their unique skills and passions, while also building communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Many students commented that the program helped them feel more prepared and motivated to take the next steps in their education and career journeys.
