Getting outside and learning beyond the classroom helps make lifelong friends, develops resilience, and increases knowledge about the environment.  Students in Year 11 Outdoor Education had an amazing experience hiking through Deep Creek with spectacular sunrises, views over the Southern Ocean and some incredible scenery.

The learning that occurs in a structured Outdoor Education experience offers powerful lessons on self -reliance, resilience, leadership of self and others, helping others and learning about protecting our natural world around us.

We had a fabulous group of students on the camp that conquered the hills and cooked their own meals.  A special thanks to a dedicated staff team, including two preservice teachers that took time away from their families to take out the camp.
