The Woodville Junior Girls Netball team played extremely well this term and won six out of seven matches. As a result, they hosted the final against Mount Carmel College in Week 9. In a nail-biting game, the girls were able to handle the pressure of a fast-moving game to come out winners 19-17!
Siarrah, Sommer and Mora were exceptional all term in defence. Selma, Jasmine, Grace and Sahara moved the ball quickly through the mid court and were willing to switch positions when needed. Abby, Amelia, Meijing and Evie were able to attack the ball hard and scored goals with confidence. Every game the girls supported each other, shared tactics and improved their skills while also making sure everyone involved had fun.
