Looking for a fun and adventurous way to spend the school holidays? The Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron (RSAYS) is running its School Holiday OutThere Sailing Program from Monday 29 September to Wednesday 1 October 2025 at Outer Harbor.
This exciting three-day course is open to 12–17 year olds of all experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced sailors. Participants will get the chance to try dinghies, small keelboats, and other water activities, all under the guidance of experienced instructors in the sheltered Outer Harbor waters.
The program is all about fun, social connection, and skill-building, with a focus on teamwork and friendship. By the end, sailors will achieve recognised standards through the Australian Sailing OutThere Sailing Program (1, 2, or 3 levels), and most importantly, they’ll have had a fantastic time on the water!
- When: 29 Sept – 1 Oct, 9:00am–4:00pm
- Where: RSAYS, 750 Victoria Road, Outer Harbor SA
- Cost: $185 (includes boats and lifejackets; bring lunch, a change of clothes, and wetsuit if available)
- Requirements: Participants must be water confident swimmers.
This program also supports students completing the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, providing an excellent opportunity to combine adventure, learning, and personal growth.
