Over the past term, we set the task to create unique and House themed artwork by incorporating the House elements. Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun and is the largest planet in the solar system. Mercury is the first and smallest of the 8 planets and travels the fastest around the sun. Neptune orbits our sun and is the eighth planet in our solar system. Finally, Sirius was the ancient Greek God or Goddess of the Dog-Star, the brightest star of the constellation Canis Major. Students utalised these elements to create House Shields and T-shirts. The student designers will now have an opportunity to work with a local Design Company to learn skills that with further enhance their current projects. We hope to be able to present the final designs in Term 3.
