Our Stage 1 Music class has been offered the brilliant opportunity to participate in a collaborative project with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, called Symphonies and Silos. The students will be working with well-know Adelaide composer Belinda Gehlert to compose a piece of music for the orchestra, which will then be rehearsed and performed at a public concert during term 3. The students will work with Belinda in 3 workshops this term, then will be involved in the rehearsal process. The students will attend the concert and see the world premiere of a new piece which they have helped write. This is a very exciting opportunity, and the beginning of a new partnership with the orchestra.
