Transition planning for our 2027 Year 7 students has already begun. This term, the school has started connecting with our partner primary schools to gather information that will support a positive and successful start for students joining our community next year. Term 4 will include several important transition activities for incoming students and families, including, a Year 7 Parent Information Session, meetings for families and students with members of the Executive Team, Transition Days in Week 8 of Term 4, as well as additional visits for students requiring extra support. There will also be additional transition opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to help them build familiarity with the school, key staff the Irabinna Cultural Centre and support programs.
