A highly successful day with students, family members and Mentor teachers was held on Wednesday 5 May. Year 12 students and family members attended in high numbers, with 137/141 students presenting and 76 family members able to attend – our best attended Academic Review Day yet! It was wonderful to see the engagement of our students as they outlined their aspirations and goals, and highlighted any problems and strategies to address them. Students presented their predicted ATAR and TAFE score based on Term 1 grades. Families appreciated opportunities to chat with university representatives from Flinders University, University of Adelaide and UniSA, and to have interpreters available throughout the day. We plan to invite the universities for the Semester 2 Academic Review Day. By then students will have explored their tertiary and further education and training options through the Wednesday Pathways program, and will also have completed their SATAC applications for university and TAFE.
