2025 Course Handbook and Course Counselling

Term 3 is an exciting time for students as they begin planning their subject selection for 2025. Students will be supported by their House Group teachers throughout our Course Counselling process, where students explore their talents, interests, passions and possible career pathways before making their subject selections for next year. The 2025 Course Handbook is now available on our school website, which outlines all of our subjects on offer in 2025, including subject descriptions and career advice. Middle Years students will make their selections by the end of Week 4 and enter their selections into our Edval Choice Timetable system with support from their House Group teacher. For our Year 10 and 11 students, they have a course counselling day in Week 5 where they will meet with a course counsellor to discuss their possible career pathways and to select their required subjects in collaboration with the course counsellor, Senior Leader of the Senior Years and each student’s family. Our SOBS booking system is now open for Year 10 and 11 families to book with a course counsellor. Students will only attend school for their appointment time as classes are cancelled for the relevant year level for the course counselling day. The dates are as follows:

  • Tuesday 20 August (Week 5): Year 11 Course Counselling Day in the Learning Hub from 11:00am – 6:30pm
  • Thursday 22 August (Week 5): Year 10 Course Counselling Day in the Learning Hub from 11:00am – 6:30pm

Parent/Student/Teacher Evening

Each year we have two Parent/Student/Teacher Evenings where students and their families can meet with their subject teachers and House Group teacher to reflect on their learning from the previous term and to set goals for the future weeks and months. Our next P/S/T Evening is on Wednesday 21 August (Week 5) from 3:00pm – 6:30pm. SOBS is now open and available for families to book an appointment.
