On Tuesday the 7th of December, 110 adventurous Year 8 and 9 students along with their teachers embarked on the annual end of year camp to Woodhouse Scout Activity centre. Year 9s were included this year to make up for their COVID interrupted Year 8 Camp in 2020.

Over the two days, students competed in Year level teams to win their respective ‘Challenge Cups’. Groups completed the infamous ‘Challenge Hill’ obstacle course where a number of students (and a teacher) fell victim to the slippery swinging rope creek crossing. All teams also tested themselves undertaking orienteering, a STEM challenge, Sports including soccer and cricket, the very popular ‘Friznet Golf’ as well as a range of team building exercises.

Teams also earned points for service by helping with meal preparation and clean ups.

It was an energetic end to the year!

Thank you to all the families and staff who supported this opportunity for our students.
