We are excited to warmly welcome our 2025 Year 7 students and their families to the Woodville High School community! As we embark on this journey together, we encourage you to stay connected through our school newsletter, a great way to get to know more about what is happening at Woodville High School.
The formal transition process is now underway. Enrolment packs have been distributed to 200 families via the SSED, with additional hard copies being distributed via Primary Schools and mail for our special entry students. Throughout Term 3, key Woodville High School staff will be visiting primary schools to meet with students and support them as they prepare for their move to high school.
Looking ahead to Term 4, we will be inviting families for interviews to get to know our incoming Year 7 students better. This will help us prepare and ensure a smooth transition to high school. The formal transition visits for students are scheduled for 5 and 6 December, during which students will be introduced to the Woodville High School community and begin their induction process.
To further support this transition, we will also be hosting a Parent Information Evening on Thursday, December 5th. We look forward to meeting you and working together to make this transition a positive experience for everyone involved.
