Year 8 are currently completing their poetry unit. All students successfully created a slam poem which is a form of spoken word poetry. In week 3 the students competed for prizes which included two canteen vouchers and a class party.
Our winners included: Tri, Maryam and Ellie who entertained us all with their unique rhyme schemes and rhythm. It was lovely to see the whole class offering encouragement, empathy and validation to all students and their presentations.
