An outstanding Year 12 Year Level day was held at Adelaide University in early February.
Our Principal, Anna Mirasgentis, pictured, delivered an inspiring presentation to the students about finding the ‘why’ to give purpose and passion to their career direction, planning a personal vision for their work in the future, and the many advantages of further education and training. She encouraged students to set their sights on deciding on and achieving their goals.
Students had a thought-provoking presentation from Adelaide University staff on Jobs of the Future. They also began planning for the Year 12 Day of Action in June, when they will run a series of student-led fundraising and awareness raising activities for global and social issues. The students can be seen deeply involved in the initial planning in these photos.
After lunch 2020 old scholars, Tarik Habibovic, Neriah Hockings and Sam Heathershaw, presented to our 2021 Year 12 group.
They shared valuable insights and strategies for success, as well as common pitfalls to avoid.
We are also indebted to Nicola Beyer for preparing a video and to all the students for committing their time and energy in presentations for this year’s Year 12 students.
