On Friday, 14th of June, our Woodville warmly welcomed NBA Basketball School Australia who facilitated clinics with Our Woodville High School Basketball Academy. This included a Middle School group, Senior School group and a Coaches’ clinic.
The program focuses upon individualised skills training drills and activities with players performing against NBA level standards. NBA coaches were from all over the world, particularly USA and South America, with experience playing at international level and National pro leagues.
Students were put through an intense skills session focusing upon intensity, communication and self discipline. Although fatigued by the end, students performed admirably.
We thank Nico, Bruno & Ben for sharing their wisdom, knowledge and expertise in coaching our Basketball Academy students. We can’t wait to welcome them back!
