Actil Avenue is a narrow street and, as such, is easily congested.
There is not enough room to have cars parked on both sides of the road.
Parents and other drivers need to be aware that there is some parking space on the school-side of the road, but the other side of the road is definitely “no stopping” between 8:00am and 9:00am and 2:15pm to 3:30pm.
It is easy to get frustrated when there is no room to park or turn.
A few drivers have even tried to do three-point turns during these very busy times.
You might have to park a bit further away, but please obey the traffic signs and don’t park on the residential side of the road.
If you need to turn around, please drive down to the roundabout and turn there.
People who live on the street have the right to report cars that stop on their side of the road during these times.
We hope that all of our Woodville High School community want to do the right thing.
