We have developed a new Leadership Structure for 2022 and this is now out for student and staff consultation. Our new Student Leadership structure will amplify and elevate the voices, gifts, aspirations, concerns, and challenges of young people and their communities; as a school who is rich in diversity we will foster an inclusive culture and be proactive in ensuring our student voices are diverse. The model will be one of service.
We have also tabled and discussed this draft student leadership structure with the Old Scholars on Tuesday 14 September 2021 and the Governing Council on Wednesday 22 September 2021. Both the Old Scholars and Governing Council were extremely supportive of the middle years and senior years structure and portfolios. They felt it was now in line with the history and tradition of the school. The Old scholars informed me the term prefect, was in the past, emblazoned in gold on the blazers and they are extremely proud of this.
