On Wednesday the 17th of March, Woodville High School hosted our 2021 Open Evening. A change from our usual Sunday midmorning event proved popular with large numbers of prospective families visiting the school, engaging in fun and interactive displays and activities. School captains, members of the Peer Leadership team and Year 8 and 9 Student Voice representatives led guided tours throughout the school, answering questions and providing their own unique experiences on student life at Woodville High School. The Principal’s address proved popular, with Anna having to repeat her talk so as to not disappoint the large crowd that missed out due to reaching capacity in our conference room. Our Special Interest Music students once again proved how exceptional their musical talents are, under the leadership of Paul Monaghan, our Head of Music.

A huge thanks to the students who stayed at school late into the evening to support the event, your commitment to the Woodville High School community is truly valued. Thank you to the executive, leadership, teaching and support staff who made the evening such a great success. A special thanks to Grant Hollinshead and his team for presenting the school grounds in such fantastic condition, no easy feat with the current capital works projects.
