It has been such a positive start to the new school year. The students have embraced the opportunity to be back in the school grounds, refreshed and ready for what awaits them in 2024.
The start of the year has seen us welcome new students across the Senior Years and we are grateful for the manner in which the community has embraced the new students. Several of our parents have commented on how much their child enjoyed the first week of the year. A big part of this has been the staff’s focus on building relationships and ensuring that the students feel supported and valued within our school community.
Just a reminder to families that we have several support systems in place to help each student in their time at Woodville High School. In the first instance your child’s House Group Teacher or House Leader is a good contact point. They see your child frequently and will work closely with them throughout the year. If it is related to a specific subject, we ask that you reach out to the teacher or Curriculum Leader. In situations where you require further assistance our Senior Years Manager or Senior Leader of the Senior Years can support you.
Please be reminded that subject changes for Semester 1 are no longer possible. Our aim is to ensure that all students are settled and actively engaged in their current lessons.
As we embark on this new year, let us continue to support and uplift one another, celebrating our successes and navigating challenges with resilience and grace. Together, we can create a vibrant and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to our school community. Here’s to a year filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable experiences for all.
