Last week, Our Woodville celebrated Book Week 2022. Embracing the theme, Dreaming with Eyes Open, staff and students came to school on Friday in pyjamas, oodies, onsies and all things comfortable. Students were able to participate in a range of activities throughout the week including a photo booth, mindfulness and meditation, and author explorations. Students also had the opportunity to peruse a selection of new books from QBD and choose the ones they would like to see purchased for our own school collection. Each of the new books purchased will have a dedication placed in the front to record the name of the student who chose it. A special thanks also must go to our Art students who created the beautiful decoration in readiness for this weeks celebrations. It was a pleasure to see our students and staff come together from across the school to celebrate a love of reading!
